The entire staff was kind and professional. Surgery day went off without a hitch. It was a pretty major surgery, and I’m truly amazed at how little pain I had to endure. Dr. Trager is amazing. Every person there was amazing. I look forward to permanent dentures and eating potato chips.

After over three hours of a failed extraction at another practice, I left in pain, traumatized, and with nothing but a referral list. I had a baby at home, my husband had already taken a day off work, and I could not afford another day like that. I chose Dr. Rebhun simply because his listing said “oral surgeon” — exactly what I needed.

When I called, they got me in the next day. I sent my referral, insurance, and x-rays by email beforehand so they were prepared. When I arrived there was paperwork and a wait, and I quickly learned my insurance was out of network — meaning I would have to pay upfront and hope for reimbursement.

Dr. Rebhun then came in to review my case. He explained everything clearly — why tooth #30 mattered, why bone grafting and an immediate implant made sense now rather than later, and how using my own platelet-rich plasma would help me heal faster. He treated me like someone capable of making an informed decision — the mark of a truly compassionate, knowledgeable, and skilled surgeon.

After reviewing the treatment plan, the front desk came in with the cost: over $5,000. I had to call my husband, deal with a declined credit application, and coordinate payment from the chair. It was stressful. But I had no other choice but to trust and move forward.

Before the procedure, he drew my blood to create platelet-rich plasma for better healing — it was quick and painless. When it was time, he injected the anesthesia and extracted that tooth in three moves. No pain. No pulling. No trauma. After what I had been through, I felt an enormous sense of relief.

The drilling, the stitches, the implant placement — all of it was painless. I left that office with a smile on my face. In the days that followed, they reached out with a courtesy call and responded promptly by email when I requested my full surgical records and implant information — providing what was available immediately and letting me know the remaining documentation would be ready at my August follow-up.

I still have concerns about what my insurance will ultimately cover, and the billing process was stressful in an already difficult moment. But that is the reality of dental emergencies — you don’t always get to choose who is in network. What I can say is that Dr. Rebhun is simply the best. He gave me a real solution when I needed one most, and his skill, precision, and care are in a league of their own.

I just had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed on Friday. It was so easy to come in Tuesday and by Friday have them removed. Really felt comfortable with all the staff especially Tami during surgery 🙂

It was quick and painless

I recently had a painful tooth. My dentist referred me to an edodontist. During that visit the doc couldn't take care my problem. She called Otimum and they took my immediately. I went from expecting a root canal to needing an extraction. Doctor Masi and his staff explained the procedure and the options. Then they took care of it during that visit. Can't thank them enough.

Well taken care of. Everything was explained clearly, all questions addressed staff was patient and courteous. Assistant was completely professional and comforting. I forgot her name but kudos to her,she was great. Dr. Masi came in did what he had to do, talked me through procedure very professional service. Considering he removed 2 wisdom teeth, it wasn't that bad.

Receptionist was very nice and helpful checking me in quickly. My waiting room time was maybe 5 minutes before I was taken back for X-rays. Gracie did the X-rays and all paperwork from that point on explaining everything to detail and prepping my mouth for the numbing agent. The dentist Drr Masi came in and introduced himself and also asked if I had any questions and answered the fee I had. The rest of the procedure went smoothly extracting one molar and I was released. Whole operation was very quick and thorough.

My elderly mom needed four teeth extracted after having an abscess. I was anxious to have this done quickly and after getting clearance from her cardiologist, was able to bring her to Dr. Masi for an appointment for the consultation and extraction at the same visit. This was extremely helpful because my mom has trouble walking and getting out of the house.
The staff at Optimum Oral was extremely helpful, communicative and pleasant. Dr. Masi was very professional and got the procedure done promptly with no waiting.

I had 2 wisdom teeth and a cracked 2nd molar removed. I was highly impressed with the minimal amount of pain I experienced after the procedure. 1 week after the procedure I am back to eating a pretty normal diet.
