Meet Dr. Lauren Trager Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at Optimum Oral Surgery GroupDr. Lauren R Trager is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon from southern New Jersey who grew up with a love of dentistry, as she is one of six dental providers in her family. She practices full scope oral and maxillofacial surgery with extensive training in dentoalveolar and wisdom tooth surgery, high-quality sedation and anesthesia, and advanced hard and soft tissue grafting procedures. Her special interests in oral surgery include implantology, benign pathology, and management of temporomandibular joint diseases. Dr. Trager graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where she continued her specialized training in the postgraduate oral and maxillofacial surgery residency. As a dental student, Dr. Trager was an active member of her class oral and maxillofacial surgery club and was awarded the undergraduate DMD Oral & maxillofacial surgery award. In addition, Dr. Trager received the Dr. Kenneth M. Stern Award for academic excellence and clinical aptitude as a postdoctoral resident in oral and maxillofacial surgery. In her free time Dr. Trager enjoys hiking and traveling in the summers and snowboarding in the winters. She also enjoys spending time with her family and cooking. |
